The Sasquatch, also known as Bigfoot, is a humanoid cryptid of North American folklore of considerable size, with oversized feet and thick fur, which is said to have been sighted in almost all mountain ranges of the USA and Canada, especially in the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachians. People have been reporting sightings for decades, but there is still no proof of its existence. Nevertheless, the myth has a firm place in American folklore - and now also in Ford's off-road DNA.
The Bronco Sport Sasquatch - for true off-road adventurers
While the Ford Bronco is based on the ladder-frame platform of the Ford Ranger, the Bronco Sport shares the genes of its self-supporting body with the Ford Escape, known in this country as the Kuga. Now Ford has equipped the Bronco Sport Badlands and Outer Banks with the Sasquatch package to give it real off-road qualities. This package includes 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with chunky 29-inch tires, longer springs and an increased ground clearance of a whopping 22.5 centimetres. There are also five steel plates to protect the underbody from damage. With the G.O.A.T. driving system ("Go Over Any Terrain") and a new Rally mode, the Bronco Sport Sasquatch can cope with any terrain - whether on mud, rocks or sand.

Posters and street signs in well-known Sasquatch hunting grounds contain telephone numbers, which in turn provide clues to get closer to the goal.
