Cookie Policy

Valid for all users - with additions according to GDPR for EU citizens. Last update: August 1, 2025

OLLI is not a place for data hunger or tracking mania. We use cookies specifically to make our platform better - not to spy on you. You decide what you allow and we explain what we do. If you do not agree with cookies in principle, you are welcome to avoid OLLI or adjust your browser settings. No bullshit. No microphone test. No grudges. We respect every decision - even those against us. This cookie policy explains which cookies we use, why we use them and what choices you have.

1 What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit our website. They make it possible to recognize your device the next time you visit, to save logins or to provide certain technical functions. Some cookies are only valid during a session, others remain active for longer.

2 What types of cookies we use

a) Technically necessary cookies: These cookies are absolutely necessary for you to be able to use OLLI - for example for logins, forms, security or language settings. Without them, the website will not function correctly.

b) Functional and performance cookies: They help us to keep OLLI stable and user-friendly, for example by optimizing loading times, error analysis or saving your preferences.

c) Analysis cookies (e.g. Google Analytics 4): These cookies collect anonymized information about how visitors use OLLI - which pages are popular, how long someone stays, etc. We analyze the data exclusively to improve our content. IP addresses are anonymized. You can deactivate tracking at any time (see point 4).

d) Marketing and third-party cookies: These come from services such as YouTube, Google Maps or social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram). They enable embedded videos, maps or sharing functions and may also include tracking. These cookies are only activated with your consent.

3. cookie consent (EU/EEA users)

For visitors from the EU or EEA: Non-essential cookies (analysis, marketing, third-party providers) are only set after your active consent (opt-in). A banner will appear on your first visit. You can change or revoke your decision there or later in the cookie settings at any time. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).

4 How you can control cookies

You can deactivate or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please note that this may restrict certain functions of OLLI. Further information can be found in the help pages of your browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

5. responsible body

6 Change to this cookie policy

Technologies continue to develop. If we adapt something or use new services, we will update this notice. The date above shows when this last happened.

Cookies. As simple as that.

We use them to keep OLLI running – and to understand what moves you. So you can find what truly matters to you. Your data stays with us. No trading. No magic. No tricks. No bullshit. More in our Cookie Policy
