We like things that work. No frills, no compromises. That's why the Solo Stove has been a staple piece of equipment for bushcrafters, overlanders and people who want to cook outdoors without turning it into a ritual for years.
The Campfire is the largest of Solo Stove's classic stainless steel wood-burning stoves and is aimed at anyone who cooks for several people or simply wants a little more in reserve. The principle is deliberately simple: a double-walled stainless steel stove with an attachable windbreak. That's all it needs.
What sets the Solo Stove apart is its secondary combustion. Air is preheated between the walls and fed back into the flame at the top. The result is an even, hot and virtually smoke-free combustion. Starting with a little tinder and small twigs, a stable flame can be built up quickly. Thicker branches can easily be added while the pot is already on the ring.
The Campfire is dimensioned so that it can be transported in a suitable pot to save space. Tinder, kindling or small twigs simply disappear inside. Only a small amount of ash remains at the end - a visible sign of efficient combustion. The double-walled construction also protects the surface, making it suitable for use on more sensitive surfaces.
The stainless steel wood-burning stoves from Solo Stove are available in three sizes:
- Lite - for 1-2 people
- Titan - medium size for 2-4 people
- Campfire - largest model, ideal for groups and camp kitchens
The matching pots (900, 1800 or 4000 ml) are sized so that the stove disappears into the cooking set to save space - practical for backpackers, bushcrafters, overlanders or vehicle travelers.
For maximum flexibility, the Titan and Campfire can also be operated with an optional spirit burner. Not a must, but practical if wood is in short supply.
The Solo Stove is not a gadget. It is a tool. Robust, well thought-out and made for the outdoors - whether in a rucksack, in a vehicle or at the campsite.
