TOPS Storm Vektor is a modern interpretation of a classic Viking seax
Although Vikings are closely associated with the battle axe thanks to movies, comics and pop culture, the legendary Norse warriors usually carried a large single-bladed fighting knife, the seax.
The seax was a deadly weapon, but it also proved very useful in accomplishing various tasks and served the Viking way of life wonderfully. Recognizing the benefits of this instrument, TOPS Knives has reinvented the Seax as a modern tool and made a number of improvements.
This modern Seax, which bears the name "Storm Vector", has a 30.5 centimeter long blade with a thickness of 64 millimeters. The knife has an overall length of 46.4 centimeters and the traditional wooden handle has been replaced with black Micarta scales. The blade is supplied with a specially shaped Kydex sheath.
