The new LED worklights from Osram

When illuminating larger areas, users benefit above all from high light output and very good visibility thanks to the daylight effect. The compact and robust polycarbonate lenses can withstand even heavy loads. This makes them suitable for on- and off-road applications in cars, trucks, off-road vehicles and some work vehicles. The LED worklights offer various light functions and are protected against polarity reversal. Three product lines of LED auxiliary headlights are available, which differ in terms of output, shape and beam angle.

The Osram LEDriving worklights and auxiliary headlights have a luminous intensity of up to 5,500 lm and a beam range of up to 450 meters. During the day, they give the vehicle an individual look with stylish, homogeneous accent lighting. At night and in dark surroundings, they provide ideal illumination for a wide range of applications. The intelligent reflector design with indirect lighting results in homogeneous light distribution and reduced glare for passing vehicles. The headlights have a daylight-like color temperature of 6,000 K and a five-year guarantee. The LED auxiliary headlights are fully ECE-approved. The long service life of up to 10,000 hours is achieved through multiple 12/24 volt protection and an integrated driver and thermal management system.

Powerful retrofit lighting: the LEDriving worklights

The new multifunctional series of worklights consists of three products with several lighting functions that improve the lighting of the vehicle. The complete polarity protection prevents possible damage to electronic components in the event of incorrect polarity. The cube-shaped Cube MX85-SP and the MX85-WD have four powerful LEDs with two integrated functions: Working light and stylish X-shaped light. While the MX85-SP provides far-field illumination over a distance of 110 m, the Cube MX85-WD is particularly suitable for close-range illumination over a length of 55 m. The Lightbar MX140-WD also impresses at close distances with a beam angle of 45° and 2,000 lm. In addition to working light for the night, three high-performance LEDs also provide accent light for the day.

A wide range for better road illumination: LEDriving auxiliary headlights

Thanks to its sophisticated reflector design with indirect light, the new product line ensures high optical efficiency on the road. LEDriving auxiliary headlights are available in three different series: Multifunctional, Functional and Slim. The multifunctional series includes the Lightbar MX140-SP, which impresses with a light range of up to 200 m. All products in this series are also characterized by several lighting functions. The functional series consists of products with one light function.

  • The FX250-SP variant illuminates the road up to 360 m thanks to ten LEDs and, with a beam angle of 5°, is ideal for long distances.
  • The FX250-CB also offers combined illumination for near and far fields. The FX500-CB and FX500-SP headlights also provide focused and powerful high beam light.

Both achieve a light range of over 440 m with 20 LEDs and an outstanding 4600 lm. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Slim series impresses with versatile installation options on the vehicle and extensive temperature resistance from -30°C to +60°C. The SX300- SP, for example, has 2600 lm and a light range of 270 m thanks to twelve LEDs. The 18-LED SX500-SP lightbar with 3900 lm is the most powerful headlamp in this series, with a range of 370 m and a rated output of 46 W.
