Dream Overland is a Portuguese company specializing in guided 4x4 journeys, offroad tours and expedition-style travel across Portugal. The company was founded by José Almeida, an experienced overlander, guide and long-time explorer of Portugal’s landscapes and remote tracks.

At Dream Overland our goal is simple: to give travelers access to the authentic, wild and lesser-known parts of Portugal. Our routes lead along remote tracks, through natural parks, across mountain regions and along isolated coastlines that are difficult to reach without local knowledge.

I am José Almeida, founder and lead guide of Dream Overland. For many years I have explored Portugal’s offroad tracks and landscapes, covering thousands of kilometers across the country. This experience and local knowledge flows directly into the planning of every route we create.
