Katla Travel is a German-Icelandic tour operator for individual 4x4 rental car tours in Iceland with its own branches in the country and a focus on highland routes, F-roads and 4x4 self-drive tours off the beaten track.

At Katla Travel, we have been developing routes that go far beyond classic Iceland tours since 1997. Our strength lies in the combination of local knowledge, real routes and a deep understanding of the conditions in the highlands.

Many of our 4x4 tours take you to places where Iceland remains pristine: over F-roads, through river crossings and into regions that are almost inaccessible without experience. This knowledge is incorporated into every trip - so that you can travel independently without being on your own.
