Due to a change in vehicles, we are selling a refurbished Mercedes 917 A 4x4 chassis/cab (formerly used by the Swiss fire department) without a living compartment. 9.5 metric tons gross weight. The vehicle can also be registered with a gross weight of 7.5 metric tons.
The vehicle offers an excellent foundation for anyone who wants to custom-design and build their own living compartment.
If you’re looking for a comparable setup for a base vehicle, this is an excellent choice. Many of the installed components have since become significantly more expensive, which further underscores the vehicle’s value.
It took us about two years to refurbish the chassis. You can save all that time, making it ideal to start right away with the enjoyable part of the conversion.
If certain components, such as the storage bins, are not needed, their value will of course be deducted from the selling price.
