Description

Hey there,

I’d like to part ways with my Asian rice bowl, since the car was originally intended for driving the West Route in Africa. And for weekend trips, the GRJ 76 is just “overkill.”
So I’d like to trade it in for something “simpler” with an automatic transmission—or maybe even give up this hobby altogether and settle down.

The car was purchased new with a one-day registration from a Toyota dealer.
At that time, cavity and underbody sealant was also applied.

The vehicle is TÜV-certified through November 2026, and the certification can be renewed upon request.
All modifications are registered.
-ARB bumper
-Warn winch
-Alu-Cab Thor pop-up roof
-Alu-Cab awning
-Webasto auxiliary heater
-TJM fender flares
-285 AT tires on 16" Toyota steel rims
-Floor panel starting from the first row of seats
-Camping conversion with a sleeping area for one person measuring just under two meters
-And more.

Many of the modifications were carried out by a well-known workshop in the Rhön region.
All invoices for the purchase and services are available, as are those for the modifications—except for the DIY items.

Service 1: May 2023 at approx. 1,500 km
Inspection, oil change, lubrication
Service 2: July 2024 at approx. 10,400 km
Inspection, engine and transmission oil change, lubrication
Service 3: May 2026 at approx. 13,900 km
Inspection, engine oil change, spark plugs, cabin and air filters, brake fluid
Service 4: Upon request at the time of delivery

Truck registration. So it’s perfect for budget-conscious buyers.
And I’ll also cover the cost of the first full tank of gas.
And do you want to know why a gas-powered car is exactly the right choice? I’ll tell you: it’s significantly cheaper to buy and maintain than a diesel, and it’s also more pleasant to drive. And the most interesting part is that the GRJ comes standard with a more reliable transmission.

If still available, the rear bench seat, carpet and trim for the trunk, and small parts are included in the sale.

The vehicle is primarily kept in a dry garage and is driven and washed occasionally. Very rarely is the Land Cruiser taken on vacation.

More photos can be viewed on Instagram at "@76.thor."
The ’76 model has not been driven off-road in an extreme sense, though a few cosmetic imperfections in the paintwork are visible. The vehicle has had hail damage repaired. This does not affect my liability for damages resulting from injury to health, bodily harm, or loss of life, or from grossly negligent and/or intentional breaches of my duties as a seller.

The vehicle will be handed over only after it has been deregistered!

Price negotiations, if any, will take place in person only. “Final price” inquiries or unreasonable offers will be ignored across the board. Please also keep in mind that vehicles tend to become more expensive over time. This is not a distress sale, and I have the time to handle the sale.

Best regards
A
