Our INEOS Grenadier vehicles take you over rocky tracks, through muddy riverbeds and past ancient cork oaks. The landscape alternates between wild mountains and turquoise-blue bays, while the engine hums to life. At the end of the day: sunset, the sound of the sea, a cold beer and a get-together. Pure freedom on four wheels.

Experience your INEOS Grenadier in its element. Our tours are exactly what the Grenadier was built for. We are running our 4×4 off-road tours on the Mediterranean islands of Corsica and Sardinia for the third year in a row - and they are fully booked every year. Take advantage of this opportunity and simply let your mind wander. We set our own pace and make the entire off-road trip as relaxed as possible.

The tour is driven exclusively with INEOS Grenadier vehicles. If you don't yet have your own Grenadier, but want to experience the feeling of maximum freedom and a real sense of adventure for yourself, you can also hire a fully equipped INEOS Grenadier from us for the duration of the tour, including camping and off-road equipment.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

The level of difficulty will be adapted to the group. Depending on experience, easier sections or more technically demanding passages can be ridden. This makes the tour suitable for both off-road beginners and experienced riders.

The tour is led by Oliver Hillebrand (Gränzelos / Overland Outfitters), who rides along in his own INEOS Grenadier. He knows the vehicle down to the last detail, has already been on numerous off-road tours with it - including in Sardinia - and will support you at any time if you are not yet fully familiar with the functions of your Grenadier.

A spectacular week in beautiful Sardinia. This trip is organized with a maximum of 6 vehicles.

THIS PROGRAM AWAITS YOU

Day 1: Golfo Aranci - Costa del Sinis - Arborea

From Golfo Aranci we head to Porto Torres, where we meet our Sardinian guide. After a short introduction, we set off straight away. We first ride on asphalt for around two hours before switching to our first off-road route in the Marghine region of Montiferru.

A 360° view opens up: on one side the sea of the west coast, on the other the Gennargentu massif. At an altitude of around 1,000 meters, the route then heads back towards the sea to S'Archittu.

Here begins a unique route along the coast - many kilometers of unpaved roads directly by the sea. We pass flamingo colonies, old Spanish watchtowers and white sandy beaches until we reach San Giovanni di Sinis in the late afternoon.

Finally: sunset at the ruins of the ancient city of Tharros, where the "Giants of Monte Prama" were discovered. Overnight stay at a campsite on the coast of Sinis.

Day 2: Arborea - Dune di Piscinas - Arborea

Another day full of Sardinia. We drive to the Costa Verde, a wild and fascinating region with the largest sand dunes in Europe.

A gravel road, on which we cross the famous "red river" several times, leads us into the island's historic mining area. On the way, we come across abandoned mines and old extraction plants.

In the evening we return to our campsite in Arborea.

Day 3: A day in Barbagia

Start at 08:30 am. We head towards Campidano, the largest plain in Sardinia, on unpaved roads. After a short asphalt section, we reach Villaurbana.

From here we steadily gain altitude. A panoramic ridge path leads us to Laconi, an idyllic village in the heart of the island. We cross well-tended wooded areas and finally reach the forest of Pantaleo.

The mountains of Barbagia - the highest peaks in Sardinia - open up before us. In the evening we reach our mountain campsite, centrally located in the interior of the island.

Day 4: Another day in Barbagia

Today we explore the region on a circular route. Small villages, waterfalls, fords, old shepherds' farms and nuraghi characterize the landscape.

A day full of contrasts between nature, culture and off-road passages. Return to the campsite in the mountains in the evening.

Day 5: Seulo - Tertenia

We leave the interior of the island and head east through the Ogliastra region, whose landscape dates back to the Jurassic period.

Forests, fords and constant views of the sea accompany us. A special stop is Gairo Vecchio - a ghost town that was abandoned after a flood in 1952.

In the evening we reach our campsite near Tertenia, just a few steps from the sea.

Day 6: Tertenia - Muravera - Tertenia

Start at 09:00 - directly off-road. We visit the natural pools of Coccorrocci and follow an old military road further south.

Our destination is the abandoned mine of Monte Narba. We then head back north through the mountain landscape around Jerzu before returning to our campsite in the evening.

Day 7: Cala Gonone - Orosei - Golfo Aranci

The last day of this trip. We head north, reach Monte Tuttavista and enjoy an impressive panorama.

We then head down to the sea, to Capo Comino - the easternmost point of Sardinia. From there it is only a few kilometers to the port of Olbia.

We say goodbye - or rather: see you soon. Because Sardinia doesn't really let you go.
