I bought it in 2022 and have driven it approx. 55000 km. I have driven it almost exclusively for my travels. So far I have mainly been to warmer destinations, but now I would like to travel to colder areas as well. This is the reason why I want to sell it. The Toyota is presented as a 5-seater. The conversion from a spacious SUV to a motorhome takes about 2 hours.
Trailer coupling is also available.
I presented the Toyota fresh on 15.08.2025. All oils have been changed and serviced after long journeys. A small service will be carried out upon sale. All work on the vehicle was carried out by the garage I trust - Garage Ming in Mosen.
I have made the following changes to the vehicle:
Rhino-Rack underbody protection / roof tent bracket. This was the first time I traveled to the desert - Morocco. I realized that the ground clearance was not sufficient. That's why I had the following changes made to the vehicle:
- New suspension from OME - BP-51
Raised by a good 5 cm / great handling and no more problems in the desert - I used it to cross the Sahara in Mauritania, where the suspension proved its worth. // registered in the passport
Unfortunately, the Rhino-Rack roof tent bracket failed and broke in the Mauritanian desert. They were able to repair the whole thing provisionally, and with the help of tensioning straps it went on reasonably well.
I then planned and had a bracket made myself at home. On my last trips through Morocco, but also in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania and Bulgaria, it worked perfectly.
Incidentally, my roof tent is a hard-shell tent from GEAR ROCK made of aluminum. The 270 degree awning from ALU-CAP is attached to it. I designed the bracket myself and it is very stable. A 100W solar panel is mounted on the tent and is ventilated from behind - it produces 80 watts in good sunlight. I also transported the sand shovel and sand boards on the roof - hence the airline rails.
I have a 120 Ah lithium battery for my cool box, the compressor and for charging the various electronic devices. The battery can be charged while driving with the help of a charging booster or through the solar panel.
I have installed a control panel at the front where I can check the charge status of the battery. I also have toggle switches there. I had connected the radio, my 4G router and the interior lighting there. I had planned additional headlights, but I haven't installed them yet.
Finally, the airline rails on the outside. I used them for Mauritania to carry an additional 60 liters of diesel. But I could also use them for the water tank, Ad Blue etc.
I currently have a 60 liter water tank in the car, which is easy to fill up with a hose.
There is plenty of storage space, including 2 pull-out drawers for 2 Euroboxes 60x40x22 and 60x40x32 on heavy-duty pull-outs.
With the roof tent, the Toyota has a height of 2.13 m and I can park it in our garage, where it is always parked when not in use!
All the original parts are still there - chassis, brackets, fittings.
