Description

Hello everyone,

For family reasons, the following is for sale (price is negotiable):

- Magirus Deutz 170D11 (81 displacement, 170 PS) First registered March 21, 1975, TÜV valid until 08/26 (due annually)

- Mileage: approximately 60,000 km

- Weight limit reduced to 7.49 t (unloaded weight approx. 7,700 kg including driver and spare tire; actual traveling weight over 8 t; weight limit can be increased to 11 t)

- Former fire department vehicle, H license plate, registered as a special-purpose vehicle (workshop truck): ~330 euros in taxes and insurance per year, no issues with low-emission zones, etc.

- The vehicle operates without electronics; workshop manuals (in 4 languages: German, French, English, Spanish) are available digitally. This provides an excellent foundation for repairs or maintenance

- Due to its age and rarity, the vehicle consistently leads to new contacts (not to be underestimated!) and positive feedback. It’s simply not a run-of-the-mill “off-the-shelf” vehicle.

- Length approx. 7.5 m, height approx. 3.5 m

- Power steering, synchronized 5-speed transmission with low-range gear, all-wheel drive with rear and center differentials

- 80 km/h @ 2,000 rpm

- Average fuel consumption is almost exactly 20 liters (trip to Morocco, including off-road and mountain driving)

- Driver and front passenger seats from a Smart Roadster, spring-mounted + retrofitted seat belts; center seat from an Espace, including seat belt + ISOFIX, foldable and removable

- Webasto auxiliary heater in the cab

- Tachometer and GPS speedometer retrofitted

- Wired backup camera (no issues with poor reception or similar)

- Sound-insulated driver’s cab

- 4 work lights (supplement to high beams, e.g., for off-road trails) approx. 5,000 Im

- Roof rack with large Zarges aluminum box, provides shade as a “tropical roof”

- Single 14.5R20 tires (including SDC) registered together with 385R22.5 tires, ensuring full flexibility depending on the application. The 22-series tires have the advantage over the 14-series that they are widely available worldwide. If necessary, a trailer tire can be used. The 14.5 MPT tires are sometimes not as readily available outside of Europe

- 8-tire configuration: 4x Mitas MPT-05 14.5R20 at 70%, 4x Bridgestone M748 evo (regroovable, snowflake symbol + 3PMSF) 385R22.5 at 90%

- Subframe (fixed front, floating rear) with container locks

- Diesel tank: 170 liters + 110 liters (switchable via ball valve) + 2x20-liter canisters = 320 liters

- Zeppelin FMII Bundeswehr shelter, 3 mm aluminum, 60 mm sandwich insulation, secured via container locks with an intermediate frame. Container locks are additionally insulated inside the shelter (to prevent thermal bridges)

- Shelter interior dimensions: 4x2m, headroom approx. 1.92m

- C-rails for flexible mounting of various items on the shelter (also available between the cab and the shelter). For example, a tarp can be attached here as an awning.

- Exterior all-around lighting on the shelter can be controlled via remote (e.g., from inside or the cab): 6 x 25W LTPRZ LED floodlights, 2 at the rear and 2 on each side. This is also excellent for maneuvering at night—perfect all-around illumination.

- Aluminum step ladder

- Rear attachment that can be extended as a deck or used as a spare tire holder

- 4 large side windows + 1 small window (toilet), all protected behind aluminum flaps with gas springs

- 1 large real-glass skylight (1 meter) that also provides access to the walk-on roof

- All windows, door, and skylight equipped with mosquito screens

- Cork flooring

- Fixed bed (1.60 m) with a Ravensberger 7-zone cold foam mattress

- Large storage space under the bed, accessible from the outside via an exterior flap

- 1,000 W solar system (4 large household-grade solar panels; provide enough power for the refrigerator and laptop even in rainy weather)

- 3,500 W 230 V inverter, 2 outlets inside the camper, plus one with an RCD for outdoor use

- 2x 12V 240 Ah VARTA Professional AGM batteries, separate from the vehicle battery and located in the living area -> needs to be replaced (slightly smaller batteries should suffice here)

- Outdoor connection for shore power; charges the living area battery via the inverter; 230V also available

- Internet via Wittenberg WB 24 high-gain outdoor antenna (2G/3G/4G) with Netgear

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. All spare parts are available (fuel injection pump, wheel brake cylinders, filters, gaskets, various oils, etc.).

A detailed description is available as a PDF upon request.

Best regards, Lukas
